How to make chocolate almond energy bites
Prepare the ingredients: if the dates have pits, slice them open and remove the pits.
Step 1. Place dates, almonds and cacao powder into the bowl of a food processor.
Step 2. Blend until the ingredients form a ball. Remove the ball from the food processor and place it into a small mixing bowl and place it into a small mixing bowl and refrigerate for approximately 20 minutes.
Step 3. Form the dough mixture into 1-inch balls with your hands and roll them in shredded coconut.

Instructions
- Place 1/2 cup raw almonds, 12 medjool dates3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder into the bowl of a food processor and blend until the mixture forms a ball similar in texture to the dough.
- Remove the mixture from the food processor and place it into a bowl – refrigerate for 20 minutes
