This is a little slice from heaven – deep dark chocolate, creamy peanut butter and nuts sweetened with a splash of maple syrup. I cannot take the credit for this recipe, it showed up one day in my in box from the Food Matters website and it’s been a regular in my refrigerator ever since. And YES, it is healthy! Organic Cacao powder is full of antioxidants and magnesium. The peanut butter and cashews pump up the protein. Here is the link to the recipe on the Food Matters Website, and mine is below. I use maple syrup in place of the honey and omitted the salt and vanilla.
