Cook it without a recipe is a fun challenge to inspire creativity in the kitchen, and cook your way to independence!
Who is it For?
Cook it without a recipe is for anyone that wants to participate.* Whether you are new to cooking and don't know where to begin, a seasoned cook and feel like you are stuck in a rut of making the same things over and over, and you want to be able to throw something together quickly to get out of the kitchen fast, or you want to have fun in the kitchen.
*participants under the age of 18 must have adult supervision.
How Does it Work?
Twice a month (the 1st and 15th) I will suggest two fresh, usually seasonal ingredients. Your challenge will be to select a few ingredients from your kitchen and build your creation from there. You will have two weeks to make and share your creation in the Facebook group Make it Healthy - Keep it Simple
How do I Enter The Cook it Without a Recipe Challenge?
Once you have made your creation, share a photo in the Official Cook it Without A Recipe Thread which will be pinned at the top in our Facebook group, Make it Healthy Keep it Simple for a chance to win.
At the end of each month, a random winner will be selected from the Cook it Without a Recipe Thread for that month to win an Amazon gift card*.
*Winners of the gift card must reside in the US.
How do I Sign Up?
You can sign up for the challenge right here. On the 1st and 15th of each month I will email you with the ingredient picks and they will also be announced in the Facebook Group Make it Healthy Keep it Simple.
Participation is not required every month.
