  • Remove the pits from the dates and place them along with peanuts and cacao powder in the food processor. Process until the mixture forms a large ball similar to the texture of cookie dough.
  • Remove the dough from the food processor and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  • Roll the mixture into half-inch-sized balls and roll into chopped peanuts.

Notes

Store chocolate date balls in an airtight container at room temperature for 2 to 3 days and in the refrigerator for a week.
Freeze date balls for up to three months.
