Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup fresh cilantro
  • 3/4 cup fresh parsley
  • 2 tablespoons fresh oregano
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 small red jalapeno or chili pepper
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons red wine vinegar

Instructions

  • Use a sharp kitchen knife to chop the herbs and place them into a small bowl
  • Mince the garlic and hot pepper and add it to the bowl with the herbs.
  • Stir in olive oil and vinegar.

Notes

Substitutes:
Red wine vinegar for apple cider vinegar or white wine vinegar
Red pepper with a teaspoon of red pepper flakes
Store leftover sauce in the refrigerator for up to a week, and freeze it for up to three months.
