Use a serrated knife to slice the baguette into slices that are about 3/4 to one inch thick.
Place the slice of bread onto a baking sheet and place them under the broiler for about 2 to 3 minutes on each side until they are crispy and golden brown. Remove them from the oven an let them cool to room temperature.
Make the balsamic glaze - place 1/4 cup Balsamic Vinegar into a small saucepan and cook over medium heat until it begins to boil. Reduce to low heat and stir occasionally until it has reduced by about one-quarter and is the consistency of syrup. Remove it from the heat.
Arrange the toasted and cooled slices of bread on a flat surface and spread goat cheese on top of each slice. Top with strawberry slices.
Drizzle with the balsamic glaze and sprinkle with chopped fresh mint.
