Prepare the ingredients: cut the onions into slices that are about 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick. Preheat the air fryer to 375 degrees
Arrange the onion slices in an even layer in an air fryer basket or tray. Once the air fryer is heated, air fry the onions until they are golden and crispy which will take about 15 to 20 minutes.
Notes
Keep an eye on the onions as they cook after 10 minutes, some pieces may brown up faster than others. Remove them as they start to brown.Due to the size of the air fryer this recipe uses one large onion which serves approximately one to two people. For larger quantity you may need to make these in batches.
