Instructions

  • Prepare the ingredients: chop the tomatoes, onions and pickles; set aside. Rinse the lettuce and dry it throughly.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, reduce to medium heat, add the ground beef and steak seasoning. Cook the beef until it's cooked through.
  • Drain or blot the excess fat from the beef and assemble the wraps by layering a spoonful of ground beef on lettuce leaves, top with cheese and toppings. Add your favorite condiments and enjoy.

Notes

Variations & Substitutions:
Meat – change up the meat and replace the ground beef with ground turkey, chicken or pork.
Cheese – Try using different types of cheeses like swiss, provolone, mozzarella or any of your favorite cheeses.
Vegetarian – Replace the meat with crumbled tofu, or a mix of sauteed mushrooms and quinoa.
Salad – Instead of individual lettuce wraps, make a salad with your favorite burger toppings with the cooked ground beef on top.
Toppings – Add any variety of toppings to your wraps from pickles, olives, jalapeno peppers, avocados, tomatoes, salsa, or whatever your favorite burger toppings are.
Store Leftovers once they have reached room temperature in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
