After enjoying these tasty one-pan lettuce wraps, you might have some leftovers. Store room temperature lettuce wraps into an airtight container and refrigerate them for up to 3 days. If you anticipate leftovers, don’t assemble all of the wraps and store the lettuce separately from the beef to avoid soggy leftovers.

You can freeze the beef for up to 3 months, but it’s not recommended to freeze the other ingredients. Portion the beef out into meal-sized portions and freeze.

These are a meal as is, but they taste great with anything you would enjoy a burger with like a side of macaroni salad, steak fries, butternut squash fries, and a chopped salad

Meat – change up the meat and replace the ground beef with ground turkey, chicken or pork.

Cheese – Try using different types of cheeses like Swiss, provolone, mozzarella or any of your favorite cheeses.

Vegetarian – Replace the meat with crumbled tofu, or a mix of sauteed mushrooms and quinoa.

Salad – Instead of individual lettuce wraps, make a salad with your favorite burger toppings with the cooked ground beef on top.

Toppings – Add any variety of toppings to your wraps from pickles, olives, jalapeno peppers, avocados, tomatoes, salsa, or whatever your favorite burger toppings are.

Can I make these wraps ahead of time?

Yes! For best results, wait to assemble the wraps until just before serving. Cook the ground meat ahead of time and store it in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days. Prep the veggies and shred the cheese in advance, keeping each in separate containers.
