Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless chicken breasts
  • water
  • sea salt
  • black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
  • Place the chicken into an ovenproof dish along with enough water to cover the bottom. Sprinkle the chicken with sea salt and black pepper
  • Cover the dish and place it in the oven for 30 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature fo 165 degrees.
  • Once the chicken is cooked throgh, remove it from the oven and let it cool off for 5 to 10 minutes before shredding it with two forks.

Notes

Allow the chicken to sit for about 5 to 10 minutes before shredding it which will make it easy to handle and the juices will redistribute through the meat.
