Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground chicken breast
  • 3 tablespoons minced onions
  • 1 tablespoon tamari sauce
  • 1 tablespoon homemade Caribbean Jerk Seasoning

Instructions

  • Mince 3 tablespoons minced onions and add them to a bowl with the1 pound ground chicken breast.
  • Add 1 tablespoon homemade Caribbean Jerk Seasoning and 1 tablespoon tamari sauce to the chicken and onions and mix everything together.
  • Form the chicken into four patties using your hands or a burger press.
  • Preheat the grill or a grill pan to medium to high heat. Cook the patties for 5 to 6 minutes on one side and flip them over. Cook for 5 to 6 minutes longer or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees.

Notes

TIPS:

  • Chill the patties to firm them up before grilling
  • Add a little 2 to 3 tablespoons of breadcrumbs for structure.
  • Prevent sticking and brush the grill grates with olive oil before cooking
  • If patties resist flipping after 5 minutes, let them cook a little longer. They will release once they are ready.
