Notes

Serve cucumber hummus bites chilled as an appetizer or a snack.

Variations & Swaps

  • Yogurt or Tzatziki: Use thick Greek yogurt or tzatziki in place of hummus. Top with parsley and sesame seeds, or red onion and dill.
  • Guacamole: Layer guacamole over the hummus and finish with diced jalapeños and olives.
  • Spicy: Mix cayenne or red pepper flakes into the hummus for a little heat.
  • Cream Cheese or Cottage Cheese: Use either one instead of hummus and top with garlic powder, chopped tomatoes, and basil.
  • Greek-Style: Stir ¼ cup of crumbled feta into the hummus before adding it to the cucumbers.
  • Change the Base: Swap cucumber for zucchini slices, radish rounds, endive leaves, or mini bell peppers.
  • Switch the Toppings: Try za’atar, sesame seeds, Cajun blend, chili powder, or a drizzle of olive oil. Roasted red peppers or a pinch of flaky salt also work well.
