Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless loin chops at least 3/4 inch thick
  • 1/4 cup tomato paste
  • 2 cloves garlic crushed or minced
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 cup tamari sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  • Place the pork into a slow cooker.
  • Mix the ingredients for the sauce (tamari sauce, tomato paste, sesame oil, honey, ginger, garlic, and water) together.
  • Pour the sauce over the pork in the slow cooker.
  • Cover and cook in the slow cooker for 4 hours on low heat.

Substitutes:
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder for 2 garlic cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
Tamari sauce can be replaced with soy sauce or coconut aminos
Honey can be replaced with maple syrup
 
NOTE: Cooking time can vary depending on the thickness of the meat and your slow cooker. The internal temperature of the pork should be at least 145 degrees f.
Store leftover pork chops in the refrigerator for up to 4 days in an airtight container.
