Healthy Homemade Granola – A mixture of old-fashioned rolled oats, nuts and seeds baked with naturally sweet maple syrup.
Did you know that homemade granola is just about one of the easiest things to make yourself? Not only does it taste better, it’s much healthier than store bought. Plus, when you make granola yourself you can control the ingredients and amount of sweetness to your liking.
This healthy homemade granola is a basic recipe, but you can tweak it to make it your own. Use only one kind of nut, or a few, change up the dried fruit or leave it out. Add some dark chocolate chips or cacao nibs, leave the coconut out or not. Get creative, you really can’t ruin it! For clumpy granola, toss in some tapioca flour to hold it together.
Healthy Homemade Granola
Once the healthy homemade granola has cooled, it can be stored in an airtight container in a cool place for a week or two. Serve it with milk, sprinkle it on yogurt, or eat it plain. Here’s how you make it. . .
